Julia Mansur is a NYC based designer currently earning her MFA in Theatrical Design and Production from Brooklyn College. After graduating with a BFA in Technical Theatre, she decided NYC was the best place to continue her education and start her career. Being Italian American herself, she values surrounding herself with various cultures and found NYC the perfect place to do just that. Her hope is to aid in the sharing of a wide range of stories through her designs and contribute to social justice through her art.

While earning her bachelor’s, Julia found great passion in both lighting and scenic design. She plans to continue to learn and establish herself as a well-rounded artist and collaborator in both areas. She is currently a Brooklyn resident freelancing throughout the city while working towards her degree.
